Tonto Dikeh slams Tunde Ednut for phone shaming Nina lailasnews

Tunde Ednut who shared a video of Nina thanking her fans for their overwhelming love and also for giving her an amazing homecoming experience, asked Nina to stop using an android phone

Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh, has defended Big Brother Naija top 5 housemate, Nina, who was phone shamed by Nigerian music producer turned social media influencer, Tunde Ednut.

Tunde Ednut who shared a video of Nina thanking her fans for their overwhelming love and also for giving her an amazing homecoming experience, asked Nina to stop using an android phone.

The video he shared came with the caption;

Nina, stop using Android.

Nina, stop using Android.

Reacting to this, Tonto Dikeh who noted that Tunde Ednut has been a celebrity longer than she could remember, asked him to buy her a phone since he is the first to notice it.

Here’s what she wrote;

Tunde you are a celebrity longer than I can remember, so you can afford a phone….send her one she needs it, we are waiting since you are the first to notice it!!

Few months ago, Tunde Ednut was also in the news after he called out Wizkid and other Nigerian singers, accusing them of being arrogant. He stated this in reaction to US superstar singer Rihanna‘s acknowledgment of some Nigerian kid dancers, on Instagram.

Tunde shared a screenshot of Rihanna’s post, and wrote as caption:

“With 60million followers, they tagged her and she has posted them twice.”

“Our celebrities never even reach 10million, them go pretend like say them no dey see anything wey dey go on for social media. Some won’t even like your post when you help them promote.”

“They believe it’s their right for you to post their shit. Anyways, we can’t always stand on that table, we will come down from it one day because the table go tire for you. Na wood nau.”

But Tunde Ednut has not been a celebrity without a scandal, in 2014 before his failed music and comedy career, he was largely criticized for his disastrous video for ‘Buga Won’,  which did hit an all time low on social media after it was discovered that he uploaded a photo that belongs to someone else.

The singer posted a shirtless picture of his purported self showing off rock solid abs, but unfortunately he was not the person in the photo. The original owner, Robert Garrick, a model posted the same photo back in June 2013.
